Memorial Day
Today, we at Rose City Nazarene Church say thank you to all who have served, who currently serve, and to all the families that support our men and women in the armed services. We know that for every person in a branch of service, there is a spouse, child (or children), a mom and dad, that is praying, worrying, and hoping they come home. Many do not.
Today, we set aside our schedules, our agendas and say “Thank You.”. Don’t let political agendas and ideologies get in the way of each of us having a grateful heart for the freedom that has been given, defended, and won on so many fronts, across multiple generations. Let us not be silenced by pride to all that have served, and for all the families that have lost a loved one in combat – say thank you. We say, Thank You.
